Lunching Thoughts

We have always thought lunch potentially the most rewarding of all eating times at the Griffin.

Breakfast may be the most important, supper the most theatrical, and tea the most reassuring but it is lunch that is the fulcrum of any day.

Lunch is perfect both for those yearning for an interlude from the day’s business or about to negotiate one of the surrounding peaks.

Our Set Lunch represents fabulous value at less than £20 for 3 courses for those looking for an extended lunch and a glass or carafe of wine.

A Runner-up in the OFM Readers' Awards for the Best Sunday Lunch, The Griffin has long hung its coat on its reputation for Sunday lunch, with live music every other Sunday from Jess Childs and John Eyre. Maintaining that reputation is very important to us.
